This is a wax-based grooming clay. Use the back of your thumbnail to remove a small amount, then warm thoroughly between your palms before applying.

Is this actually matte—or is it oily?

The finish is natural, semi-matte, low-shine or even essentially shine-free depending on your hair. However, appyling too much can create a higher shine finish.

How much should I use

START SMALL

Begin with a small amount. Warm completely between your palms and distribute evenly. Add more only when additional hold or texture is needed.

Should I apply it to wet, damp or dry hair?
